Special Gifts Theatre (SGT) is an educational and therapeutic theatre program for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. SGT uses the stage as a platform to develop social skills, speech/ language skills, and self-confidence. The growth and transformations that the students make over the course of the season is incredible! Plus, every student is partnered with a peer mentor and together they work to educate our communities about their abilities and breakdown stereotypes.

SGT's 5k run/ walk is a kick off event for the season that helps provide funding for our programs. Over the past 5 years, Special Gifts Theatre has grown by 40% and is continuing to grow thanks to your support... Since its founding in 2000, SGT has served over 2,600 individuals and has performed for audiences of over 30,000!
